All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker
Goodreads Blurb: 1975 is a time of change in America. The Vietnam War is ending. Muhammad Ali is fighting Joe Frazier. And in the small town of Monta Clare, Missouri, girls are disappearing.
When the daughter of a wealthy family is targeted, the most unlikely hero emerges—Patch, a local boy, who saves the girl, and, in doing so, leaves heartache in his wake.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Goodreads Review: A story of pirates and beekeepers. This was a very good book, although that should probably go without saying by now. So I won’t talk about the pros, or the clever literary techniques on display. No, that’s not what’s going to keep you reading … it’ll be the characters. You are going to love these characters, and I think there’s not anything better to say about a book than that 💜
